Indiana Sheriffs' Sex Offender's Website
IIn October 2005, Indiana’s Governor, local Sheriffs, and the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association in combination with the Indiana Department of Correction, Indiana Criminal Justice Institute, Indiana State Police, and the Indiana Attorney General’s office began planning and developing a new Sheriffs’ Sex Offender Registry website that would offer the public a single place to view sex offender information. This website is the result of these efforts.
